Hi This is my first time posting to the User Group so I hope that I make my problem clear enough for you all to understand.
I have recently discovered that my 3xG grandfather was adopted by his uncle. After a bit of searching through the help files I found that I could link my 3xGGF to his uncle without him being "married" to his sister! So far so good. However, when I run a descendant chart from my 5xGGF it shows my 3xGGF (and all his subsequent descendants) twice - descending from his biological mother and also from his adoptive uncle. I don't really know what I had expected to see, but maybe some sort of "dotted line" from the uncle to his nephew/adoptive son. Is there a way of resolving this or will I simply have to unlink him from the uncle and just make very clear notes!!
