Although I rarely put the township in the location field, I do if the
town or village is unknown (or undocumented). That way it's possible
at a glance to know what geographical part of the county a person
lived in.

I'm sure this is not exactly what you are looking for, but it might be
a workaround. Whenever I want a quick glance at the ages for events,
I just click on the "Chronology" tab -- it gives the ages along the
left side of the screen. It's not the same as having them listed
adjacent to the events o

still get about 20-25% of my LUG messages sent automatically to the Spam
