I'd rather have them take their time and release a good version rather than
rush it out to the public and then have to make a bunch of patches.

Sara, I also have for years put my census notes under general notes! I
have never used merge (Family Tree Maker) and have just recently purchased
Legacy. I don't mind at all doing this, as it helps me write very clearly
and put down notes, occupation, etc. John

One of the many reasons I changed from FTM was the reason that I had lost
most of the simple copy and paste on my reports with FTM2008. Previous
versions of FTM were fantastic and allowed to copy and paste showing the
indented generations. I would often copy and paste a section to run queries
After being an Ancestry subscriber for as long as they've been in business,
I couldn't handle the new 2008 version so have come on board with Legacy!
Quick question for a problem I can't seem to fix..it's happened twice
now, in typing a surname, the first instance I can't get the 2nd letter
the
archives, your question may have already been answered.
Having said all that, keep asking questions, you'll almost definitely
help someone else!
