Good advice but if you are like me - Legacy Forum is a very small percentage of my contacts. When posting to Legacy, just before sending in Outlook Express, I prefer to click Format, then Plain Text' - that way it leaves my normal email in Rich Text for all my other contacts. Cheers, Boris

Yes, the painful problem of organization. there is no solution that fits all conditions. I found in my filing designs, that I was most successful when starting from the end, that is - How will I be looking for the object when needed. by year, or by surname, or by event, etc., and then setup

If one goes to the trouble of resizing, I would suggest one more step... renaming all the pics to fit into one folder only (well, maybe 2 or 3). Instead of having folders and sub-folders make those names part of the file name, with incremental numbers for people in the same family,e.g.,

Everyone here is here because they have been bitten by the genealogy bug and most are trying to do it by-the-book. Depending on your objectives, it may be alright to stray a bit and introduce your own wrinkles. Legacy has the ability to create web pages and these can be burned onto a CD to
