That is fantastic, thanks for letting us know!

I think what you are asking for is something like Genbox does. IIRC
(it's been a while) they have a tab in the master source that lets you
see all the citation details attached to it. Effectively, this means you
have Master Sources *and* Master Citations - which may add some
complexity, but accompl
I don't disagree that it's subjective, of course it is subjective. But I
respectfully disagree that it's just about impossible to estimate the
quality of the fact. That is exactly what we do as we choose to enter,
(or not enter, or enter with qualifying notes) every single field in our
databases. I
I don't think it is really the same thing. Currently, surety is attached
to a specific citation, not to the fact. One's surety about a given fact
depends on analyzing and correlating all 5 (or whatever) citations
attached to it and coming to a conclusion based on all the evidence. I

One bandaid you can try is to put the Source List Name, Author, and
Title, etc. in [[double brackets]]. That seems to get the effect you
want, although it changes the sort order of your master sources (the
double brackets sort first). I tried just double bracketing the
Author/Title, but then the So
Thanks, actually right now I was just testing how my formatting choices
were coming out. Hopefully it can be fixed before I upload any web
pages, which I probably won't be doing right away. I'll keep it in mind.

I have concerns about publishing someone's email address on one's
website in plain text, as in a source citation. The WorldConnect poster
may have posted his/her email address on that site, but it is in graphic
form and not accessible to harvesting for spam.

No one you quoted said any such thing. What I pointed out is that surely
buying the upgrade to V7 would be cheaper than buying V6 twice, the
second purchase including the free upgrade.

One consideration is if you ever export or publish or share in a format
that only lists the events instead of the sentences. It then becomes
unclear whether the individual was the godparent or the godchild.

That's about what I do, but it's not at all obvious to someone new that
this is required.

One major problem, if you just make a new Master Source, close it ...
then open it and makes changes - clicking save will *NOT* give you the
option to save as a new source. It will only do this if the Master
Source is attached to someone.

However, putting sources on charts is hardly some strange personal
preference. It is, in fact, considered necessary by the professional
organizations of genealogy. Not having that capability is a holdover
from older times - earlier genealogical programs didn't used to clutter
up reports and family
A vague subject line also makes it likely that many other listers will
delete your question without even reading it. People are very busy and
need some clue that the thread has a chance of either being helpful to
you or is a question you can answer.

Depends a little bit on what you want and how you handle documentation.
For example, many people use the name field to source the parent-child
relationship. When you attach source to the Unspecified field, the
citation shows up in web pages/reports as attached to the name field -
that may *not* be
