Thank you, Alan. However, does this only affect the order in
printing out reports? I tried this but it does not bring my #1
choice up to the AKA line on the family view. The AKA I first
entered is still the one that shows up there.

arranging them in the desired order.

After all the comments about uploading, downloading and merging
from Ancestry to Legacy, I decided to finally try it. So far it
looks okay except for one aggravating thing.
When I downloaded from Ancestry and then imported to a new file
in Legacy, I now have AKAs for EVERYONE. I
AKA Names well here we go:
Kiblinger / Kopplinger / Caplinger / Kleplinger / Keplinger / Kublinger
/ Kepplinger / Koepplinger / and Keblinger
The above nine names were found searching for my ancestors. The correct
spelling came from a signature on a document. Keplinger. which was the

Which is why I don't use AKA for nicknames but use Legacy's Quoted
Name feature.
We still need the sentence you propose - picking up the Quoted Name.
Perhaps we even need a different way of entering the Nickname. It's a
