Glenny, go to the Notes, and click on the Medical tab (third one). At
the top is the location for cause of death. It sources separately than
the other notes, so be sure to source it.

You can use the Events to add this information.
The default list of events includes Death, however, you could add a new
event entitled Cause of Death and use it accordingly.

Just out of curiousity, what is the advantage to doing it this way
In a narrative report, the cause of death immediately follows the
death date in the opening paragraph. I guess I can see you would
prefer to have it occur at the end of the list of events in a person's
life, rather than at the beginning of what will be a narrative. It is
nice that Legacy has these
