Hi Keith, It depends on whether you are copying all the files with the Family File name or just the fdb file. If you are only copying the fdb file, then your database is intact but you've lost your clipboards and various other customisations that you've made that relate to the specific databa

Rather than doing the Backup then Restore (on a different machine) - I have (in the past) simply copied the family file to a thumb drive and then copied it to the Data folder in Leagcy on the other machine. I then pick the new family file and it seems to work fine. I do make sure I copy any new p
