Hi, I have not heard back on this issue I reported to Support several days ago (see bottom note).  Since the list is less busy than usual today and since I didn't want this issue to fall through the cracks (and would like to see a quick fix), I am presenting it to the group.

Please feel free to question or comment...
Thanks,

To: [EMAIL PROTECTED]

Hi, I have not heard back from anyone on this issue.  Would it be
better if I send this through this LUG first for comments?  It seems
like a no brainer and easy to fix.  I just want to get confirmation it
is on the "fix list" before I cross it off my to-do list.

Thanks,

Hi, I recently found a glitch in the gedcom output for source titles
formatted to contain italics.

Specifically, when I want a book title to be in italics, I usually do
so by clicking the "Formatting of title: Italicize (publ.)" button.
In this case, the resulting title does not show up in the gedcom
output file with the angle brackets.

On the other hand, I have some titles in Legacy where I do not click
the format button above because part of the title needs to be
italicized and part does not.  For example, if the book is a revised
edition, I want the book name in italics, but not the words "rev. ed."
In that case, I choose "Formatting of title: None" and then insert
the angle brackets «i»Title«/i» on the part I do want in italics.  In
this case, it does come though correctly.

Someone else who uses Legacy and TNG confirmed this for me recently.
Legacy, can you please log this as needing a fix?  If so, could it be
in the next update?  Many thanks!
