I'm not exactly sure I understand your issue but will try to explain
a bit about Legacy and see if that won't clarify it for you.
As I understand it, you have entered your Mom's line back to the
1500's( congrats on that by the way..some of us who are stuck in the
1700's are jealous alrea
Not sure why you would want them in separate files, but you could do it a
couple of ways. You could tag the individuals that you want in the new file and
choose File > Export To > Legacy File. Give it a new file name, clicking Save
opens a dialog box where you make your selection on whom you wan
t's a good deal more difficult to
merge them later.
