Hmm, which version of Legacy are using? When I try it to paste something that is chock full of HTML, I cannot just click "Strip HTML" and clean all of it up. I first have to select (highlight) the portions I want to clean up, and once I do that, it works Millennia perfect for me. Are you sel

I have never found the "Strip HTML" in Notes to be particularly effective, it always leave behind a lot of HTML code. I still find the most reliable method is to paste the text into a Plain Text Email then copy from there. Is there another way to strip off HTML code? ___

Cathy, I thought I used to be able to put a name in bold, using my formatting buttons, copy the census event to my clipboard, paste it to another individual, strip out the formatting using the strip html button, and then put the new person's name in bold. Sounds like I must be dreaming... Carol
