I've apparently hit a wrong button and now my surname list is no longer
alphabetical. Can someone tell me to fix it.?
Try clicking on the surname field at the top of the window, as if you
are going to type a name for it to find. That should be enough to make
it sort by surname.

Not sure which list you mean.
As far as I can see, the Master Surname List can't be ordered any
other way than alphabetical.
If you mean either the Name List or the Index View, put the cursor in
the Surname box along the top and they'll reorder. Similarly put the
cursor in the RIN box and
Is it now on Number order? May simply be the curser is in the # type in
box.

When creating web pages directly from Legacy the (Sur)name lists are
empty. Though not a big user of this feature I'm trying to determine
why this happens. Thanks.

Under Web Page CreationFormatting, select your option from the Name List on
the right hand side.

hours, I don't know if that was the case
