I haven't followed this thread in detail so if I've misunderstood please
accept my apologies. However I think you can get what you wish by making
the selection as Cathy said and, say, Tag 1. Now go to SearchFind: Look

information with both the Family Group sheet and the Descendant report in
the Book section--my fault, I wasn't clear about wanting just names
only.
What I wantis JUST this (e.g.):
John Doe m. 1) Ann Smith
Children:
John Doe,
Often I just want to view or print out the name of a parent and spouse with
all their children and spouses, but no children.
If i do a descendant report with 2 generations, I get the parents and
children, but no spouses. I have to go to 3 generations to get the spouses
of the children

Hi Pat,
A Family Group Sheet will do this
OR
Descendant Book - 1 generation
On the main Report page - tick Show spouses for children who will
have a main entry.
