I think I may have found a bug and would like suggestions and /or
workarounds.First let me explain.
When trying to do a pedigree report for myself with me selected as starting

Kathy I think you would have to change the Set Direct Line as Preferred option
(under Tools) from yourself to each of your siblings for each of the reports.

Don't forget that when you color code, you set the color coding to
yourself, usually. If you want the colors to appear based on someone
else, you need to set them as the person to base color coding on. You
can do this, print the reports, etc., and then reset the color coding to
yourself.
