It is very simple to set one of these bookmarks, so perhaps you set it
yourself without realising. All you do is right-click on one of the
Quick Bookmarks at the bottom of the screen,

I'm unclear what you mean by

If there is someone in the Number 1 box, then that IS a bookmark.
Do you mean there is no Bookmarks History (blue icon at bottom left)?
Maybe you have "Cleared the Bookmarks
