In ALL my Wordwide census transcriptions I add the line number, if not
included by the census taker at creation. This is for future searching
purposes, and separating families on the same page. I don't have L7 yet, so
have
it.

The ID of Person field is where the household member goes
I put the household name in the ID of person field and I'm thinking
that with the dwelling and family numbers entered the line number
becomes unnecessary.

scroll down the list of fields. The line number is only for pre-1850
censuses if you've selected the U.S. census templates.
