True ... if that is the only change you need to make in the rtf. I
rarely if ever use rtfs, but as I recall in V6 you also have to go back
and manually re-add any pictures using winword. There may be other
changes that need to be made to make the rtf look more or less like the
Legacy Preview.
If you make the report first and If you have a decent text editor, a
global Search & Replace on a phrase would take about a second.

Just coming to this message, having being away from the list for a while.
I would only use the "Married" marriage status in situations where an
individual was married already at the time of this marriage, i.e., either a
bigamist or began living with a new partner while still married to a
Ok, thanks Ron. I loaded the sample Legacy database and noticed that
none of the marriages in that file are linked to the Marriage status
either. Just wanted to make sure there wasn't something going on with my
particular file.
