I have several thousand names in my file. I often get queries through
Ancestry or GenesReunited about someone in my tree. There is no point is
sending the whole file to the person because it will be a large file and
possibly overwhelm them
I don't put any events in the marriage - just marriage, divorce. My reason
has nothing to do with reports, though - I just like to see everything when
I am looking at the individual screen, rather than having bits of info
scattered about.

I find the Individual Report is the best way to check what
information I have for that person, what is missing, what is
incorrect, where formatting needs changing, etc.
I mainly print individual reports b/c it seems to be the only report where
relationships to mother and father show up properly sourced. There is a bug
causing them to show up incorrectly in some instances on the family group
sheet. It looks better than a family group sheet does for a person who

I know the commonly cited reason is Marriage Events don't print on
Individual Reports.

So far, the only time I've printed an Individual Report is for someone
who never got married or had children.
I have always entered common events for both the husband and wife (not
as marriage events) and never gave it a second thought until some of
the discussions came up
