Rob, This is rather weird! Go to Format>Line style (before selecting the box if you wish to do several) and select the dashed line. This is the weird bit - it only seems to work if the thickness of the line is set to 1; higher than that and a solid line is drawn. C'est la vie! Ron Ferguson
