Jim,

I really find your comments about Ron highly unfair. I don’t find one rude
thing in his reply to you, and his views on the cost of the upcoming release
7 of Legacy I think are very realistic. In general I always find Ron’s
comments to be informative, friendly and unbiased – and you can always count
on Ron’s help if you have any questions about Legacy.

Erik

Well, we've got at least one unbalanced misanthrope in the group!

I don't know what is wrong with the guy, Ron, but just ignore him. Most of
us in the group appreciate all the help you provide and don't think you are
rude at all.

I'm sorry it has taken me this long to read your rude answer to my comment.
Talk about someone who does not know what they are talking back. Legacy 7
is a free upgrade to anyone who bought v.6 after the first of July.

I don't know who you think you are, but I'm tired of seeing your
mean-spirited responses on this board. If I had a dollar for every rude
and/or condescending comment you've made on this board, I could buy a lot of
genealogy supplies.

You may have actually helped some people, but you've also caused a lot of
ill-will. I would appreciate it if you would keep any comments you might
want to say to me to yourself.

Remember all the new posters saying how rude this board is to people? You
own a large amount of that credit.

Legacy may want to kick me off for confronting you, but I'd rather be
removed than to have to listen to you.

It is normal for Legacy to offer new purchasers the option of a free upgrade
to a new version if one is imminient. This is normal business practice for
many companies and in no way implies that the new version will be free.

I would be very surprised if the new version costs any less than version 6
did when it was first released. Let's be realistic Legacy has to pay its
staff, developers, overheads and make a profit to stay in business. If it
did not there would no Legacy for anyone.

For once let's get real about this and stop expecting the earth for nothing!

I purchased the download version 6 about six weeks ago. When I bought it
their website said version 7 would be a free upgrade when it comes out.
