I make each correspondent a separate Source, and create what may be as long as
a book. I have about 5 people who sent papers containing over 100 pages. I
number the pages, skipping some numbers until the next 'ends in one' comes up.

You need to find both the place where the program asks 'do you want to print on
a new page', then change the number of lines to print, also remove the hidden

When I run the potential problems I get a list that shows among other things
families in which the children are not in birth order. I have no problem with
this.
Is there some way I can find out which marriages are not in the order in which
they took place? For example John Smith married
I, too, have a question about the To-Do List. I select print from the To-Do
List in Research Guidance. I get each to-do item on a separate page. Is
there a way to get a list of my to-do items on a single page?

I have a (basic) Master Source named "Personal Correspondence" that I
use for emails and anything else that comes my way via letter or email.

Perhaps you would enlighten
When I try to get a report of to do items, all I get is a blank page. What
am I not doing right? I know I have a good number of to-do's and they show
up in the list of to -do's.

I do mine in your second example. Emails of John Smith (source) then for the

Do you recommend adding each individual email / letter as an individual

This sounds like the same question I asked some time ago. I think being able
to go to all of your Source Details would be very useful since in the case of
census and obituaries the same citation/detail is used for numerous people who
are mentioned in that source. I got so used to this in FTM 2
Thank you Keith and Jenny, I know about basic sourcing in Legacy. I
am a long time user and have the training CD's which I needed to
study, even to use the basic sourcing! It is not what I asked for, I
want a SINGLE window with just TWO fields. I know it could be done and
would work very well for

My biggest wish for forthcoming options in future versions of Legacy
is a simple source option. I want to keep the complexity that is
already there but to add an option for a quick, simple and easy source
citation. For example, if I find something that I want to put in my
