A small correction - Ctrl-X is CUT, not delete.
Effectively the same, if all you want to do is remove a block of text.
But if you want to shift it to another location, then you want to CUT it
from its current position (thereby deleting it from your document and
saving it in your computer's memory

"historical news", there is one link within their site which lists exactly
which cities are covered in each state. There are probably an average of 10
cities per state, with much more coverage in the New England area but v

Small towns and large towns are included. GenealogyBank.com has 4,300
newspapers from all 50 states.
There is also a separate bucket on the site that highlights the
obituaries from the 1970s forward.

No need to move from Legacy for what you want. You can save a number of
different display settings and easily switch between them as you need to.
In Family view, right click on the frame where the display names are, and
click customise. First Save your current settings and give them a

Use search miscellaneous for linked individuals with no parents and set a tag.
Then search for tagged individuals with the surname you are looking for.
