Strange, but the icons never danced for me. Could there be a Windows setting
that suppresses such movement? I turn off all Windows sounds and most special
effects. And I agree that the programmers jumped the gun in turning off
something that most seem to like before looking at alternatives.

I've used practically every version of Legacy in the last 10 years. I'm an
early adopter of everything and always upgrade to the latest. As far as the
icons, I never noticed any dancing of any icon on any screen in the
application. I can't go back and check in specific version of Legacy now
It was the previous version 7.5.0.98 and they were only dancing on
the Individual's Informatin and Marriage Information window when you
moved your mouse pointer over them.
It was a slight jiggle - nothing like what you see on a Mac!

about 5 to 8 pixels when you moused over them and then move back when you

the rest.

I really liked the dancing icons. I have some vision issues also and have HATED
the pale gray of the unused icons. Could the programmers at least outline them
on black in place of gray? That would at least give a little more contrast.
