Correct. But I didn't want to get into that level of detail because
the poor OP seemed confused enough already
It seemed to me that he only wanted to see the To-Dos for the
individual and not all of them.
Unless I misread the issue.. and what am I doing working on Sunday
anyway? Good quest
My thanks to all who replied with suggestions; I now see this!
John.

By default. But you can go to the drop-down and change Individual to
General or All. If
I am confused. Do you want the icon to be on either the husband or wife's
individual screen, which it does, or add it to the married screen for only one

There *could be* two To-Do icons - one on the main toolbar and the
other for the individual in the Family or Pedigree View.
(I say *could be* because the To-Do icon isn't on the main toolbar by
default - I added it)
if you click on the one on the main toolbar at the top, then you will

Sherry and Melissa,If I remember correctly, PAF had 3 name fields: Given,
middle and surname. When I moved from PAF to Ancestral Quest, it added all
middle names to 'after the first name' with a space added(?). I had my data

The Icon you referred to shows the List of all the To Do items; you
would have scroll down to
find the correct one., there could be hundreds of such items.
What I was wondering about would be an Icon that comes up only when the
focus person, in Family View, is

I am using Legacy 7.5; with Win 7-32
In the Family View.
Is there any way of having an Icon appear, just below the Husband or
Wife data; along with the other Icons, when this person or persons,
is the subject of a "To Do" item?
If not, perhaps this could be added in a later version?

I don't think there is in Legacy. It would require someone to write
something (SQL and/or a program) that would get this info out of the
Access database
I converted from PAF to Legacy and when I did all the names did NOT carry over
But this was some time ago.

Thanks, Sherry/Support. I'll look forward to a future enhancement or add-on
program! Pulling in timeline of your choice would be really fun as well.
