I had a similar problem and the procedure I adopted was
1. Unlink the child from everyone.
2. Get to the child through the name list and make them the main person
in the pedigree view.
3. Right-click the child and use "Add Mother" and then "Link to an
existing Person". Then select the Mother.
The individual ToDo items are accessed from the Individual View in Families.
Tap the Edit button if you want to add a ToDo item and there are none listed
yet.

Sherry, in my earliest post re this problem I stated that I have updated to the

Yes, it was after seeing the Family App webinar that I was wondering about note
taking on tablets. Maybe mentioning Family App would have made my inquiry 'on

Not everything is obvious to everyone. It was obvious to you but not to me.
I read the subject and saw it's about Families, and in Sherry's mail I didn't
read anything about note taking software. Sherry allready wrote it's ok to

Not sure how you could even remotely think that note taking software would be
considered a Legacy add-on. I would think it is pretty obvious what is a
legitimate add on and what is a stretch of imagination.

Consider trying "Evernote" for notetaking. I use it on laptop, Android
phone, Samsung Galaxy tablet & desk computer--syncs on all of them. Also
includes option to take photos--great with phones--and clip web images.
Works really well.
