Walt, It doesn’t matter in the slightest. Legacy does not store your image files, only the path and file name, so you can put them where you wish. I keep my census, BMD etc. images in my Dropbox folder, but where you put that is up to you. Legacy recommends that you keep all Legacy files in the

I don't know how large your family file is or whether you've been following the thread I started on creating a .pdf for everybody, but the purpose of all this was to make searching a cinch. Incidentally, I have c 5500 people in my database but LOTS of info & extensive citations for many of them.

Perhaps this would be cheating but I would try "Tools>Global Spell Check" . I would bet your city name is not in the dictionary and would show as a misspelled word. It may take a few minutes to go through this procedure but I bet you would eventually find it. B0bby -Original Message-
