I have a new computer and when I am in, e.g., Event Notes and run my finger
over the touchpad while another finger is resting on the left button, the
font changes size. I know there's a way to disable this but don't remember
what it is.

I am wondering how to cite a loose snapshot (in one's personal collection

Could be. Anyhow, Dell just called me and told me how to control/change
the touchpad properties so I *think* I have it fixed now.

I too thought it was an error, however, I examined my website which was
created from a GEDCOM created in a previous version before this error check
(which showed I had 7 of these errors), I examined all seven of those
individuals who were never married, however they did show an empty Family
record
I was holding that thought in the back of my mind but since it turned out to be
just a no harm, no foul error that was automatically fixed, it didn't really
bother me.
I'm not sure about the cause but I know all of us users sometime do strange

How do you handle unnamed infant deaths?

You don't say if you want to use SourceWriter or Basic. If SW, I think
I would use the ArtifactsPrivately held template.

Not sure why you think their deaths should be handled any differently to
any other death, so I presume you really mean how does one handle the
lack of a name. Personally, I am quite happy to use Unknown in place
I put them in as a real person. I leave the first name blank. I will put M or
F if known. I will put in any dates I have, real or estimated. And then
source everything.

Legacy will happily accept a person with only a surname entered. You can
add the child as a normal child using the surname of the parent(s)
without a given name and you can, if the gender is unknown, indicate
that when entering the child. Unknown gender is the ? beside the M and F

For any person where I don't know their name, I put a description in the
Given field, surrounded by privacy brackets. It then looks like these:
[[Unknown infant]]
[[Daughter 2]]
[[Kay's mother]]
This way, I can withhold this non-name from reports if I choose, but
there's still something there
I always put any infant as a child with no first name but same family name as
the other children and then the gender if known.
I do not know about many other countries, but being Dane I know that in the
olden days you had to pay for burying children but not stillborns.
