On the Family View, right click on a child and select View > Show 1/2 kids. This does *not* affect children on the Pedigree View. On the Pedigree View, if you have the Spouse/Child box showing, you see the children of each spouse listed under the spouse. This is not the same as the "Show 1/2 kids

The problem that I have with the Index View is that whenever I load a new update of Legacy, not just a new version but a new update, those customized columns are undone. Definitely keeps me remembering how to customize, but I would prefer that it mainteined my settings. God bless, Ellen On Ju

If you've had v7 Deluxe for a while now, you'll have to pay an upgrade fee to have v8 Deluxe when it arrives, just as you do to go from v6 Deluxe to v7 Deluxe. If you've only bought it recently, check the date in the announcement as to when purchasers will get a free upgrade. Hope this helps. :-
