To me genealogy is all about connecting people. The software is just a tool to
make it easier. Most people have one set of parents; some people have more than
one father and/or mother due to adoption or other reasons, but in researching

How do you add an umlaut to a name?
Thanks

See, here again I maintain that the word ‘marriage’ is defined culturally and
subject to interpretation. If I have a relative who is in a long-term,
committed relationship with a same-sex partner, I will probably want to link
them in Legacy (as best I can). I really don’t care whether or not

I too have felt the need for an Undo/Redo – at least for one transaction. It’s

If wishes were horses.
All well and good to wish but if 8 is in beta or even close to it,
the features list was locked down months ago. Beta testing is usually
for bugs, stability and compatibility; it is not a request for new

Let me start by saying that I haven’t a clue what to be “enrolled” means!
However, it is clearly an event of importance, and I emphasise “Event”. I take
it that the Event of enrolment will take place at a location on a specific

Barb,
Go to the Individual's Information Screen. The ribbon is on the left

It may be that because it’s been a long day, and it’s getting late but I do not

Difficult to hazard a guess!! One thing which I have found with my own stuff,

Could you go to Potential problems report in Legacy and change the option
for Warn if born after 20 years of marriage and change it to 19 or 30 and
see if it still reports after 20?
