This is normal whether imported from a GEDCOM or just added directly in Legacy. The default relationship to parent is blank meaning biological. You can change it to explicitly say biological, but I normally don’t bother. I normally only set a value for the relationship to father or mother if

Kathy, What you are wanting is to be able to add the Main Person's notes to the others. There is a checkbox but it seems it is only active if you include the Role person's notes. It's some time since I tested Shared Events. I think you are finding a bug. I'll check it out later. Cathy At 07:48
