I've seen this too, more than once since the upgrade to v8. I've tried
both options, and Legacy seems to work just fine whichever I choose.

FWIW, it did NOT occur on my Windows 8 netbook, but it did on my Windows
7 notebook.
So far, I haven't seen any side-effects.

Maybe an enquiry can be sent directly to the support email address. It is not
a widespread issue obviously since very few people have complained of any
issues. No need to make a mountain out of a mole hill.

It is interesting that this topic has come up. Yesterday, I attempted to
use Legacy 8 and received the message that there was an update to be
installed. I downloaded the update and received an error message to say
that my Version was 4 Feb 2014, expected Version 17 May 2014. To fix this
problem

Is it possible to adjust how many levels of relationships show on the family
screen. I would like to see the relationships of people who are not related
by blood but are related by marriage, even tenusously.
I note that when setting relationships it allows for 999 blood relationships
to show
