It is free to download Legacy (any version) and install it.
If you want to unlock the additional features that come with the Deluxe
edition, you will need to pay for that. The program will not ask you
for money, though - you buy Deluxe (online via the Legacy web site, via
a third-party seller...)

There's a Lineage Chart for the Paternal line, but not the Maternal line.
We'd be happy to have you submit a suggestion for the maternal line if
you'd like - just click on the "Make a Suggestion" link in the Support
section of the Legacy Home tab.
