Sandi, Yes. You need to use tagging. You can tag everyone with a particular surname most easily from View - Master Lists - Surname Highlight the surname and then use Show List and then tag on an empty tag. This may be enough if you're only wanting people with that surname and their spouses and

Thelma, One of the things that make email lists so frustrating is when people highjack threads. Start new emails for new topics, don't just change the subject line. And before anyone comments - yes this happens on FB as well but not so much. Thelma - re your problems - contact support direct.

Your database probably has a locking file left behind from the crash. Simply use Windows/File Explorer to locate the folder in which your database file is stored. Look for a small 1K file with the same name but has a .LDB file extension. Do NOT delete your main database file. Now try Legacy again.
