settings you use is triggering a bug that should be addressed.
Support will need a copy of the report settings file with your

own settings file so
I have contacted support as well. I've generally been using charts saved
as jpegs for working documents and this attempt at saving a chart was

won't maximise, I can't do any manipulation to the chart features much

I always start Charting from within Legacy.
It sounds as if you are trying to open an existing chart? Do you still
have the database it was based on in the same place?

Hope someone can help with this irritating glitch that's just started
with Legacy 9 charting on Windows 10 (both have current updates).
When I click on Legacy Charting, the charting app appears on the task
bar and hovering shows that a chart is there but it won't maximise.

Maybe, just maybe, the programmers are busy re-writing Legacy in Unicode.
Well, we can dream, can't we?

We seem to still get the lip service, “the programmers won’t go for that”
or “we have found this problem also, you will get the credit for finding it”
but never seems to go anywhere. Who was this designed for in the first
place, us, the users… or the programmers??

Since it nothing ever happens, people have stopped trying, which is probably
what they wanted to have happen anyway.

just live with the current situation. The last option is the least

We'd all like our pet bugs fixed. I know I have a few.
However, the programmers are not doing nothing.

Gene,
What's your problem with the Help file?
You can go the hard way - Help - Help Index and search for Name List and
see Printing in the list.
Click to display. Scroll to the relevent section on Printing that has a
link to List Report.
There it explains how to set it up and that it can be

I am beginning to think that the programmers of Lagacy all quit when the

The simplest of fixes has not been done and there is no sign of any real
changes or updates to the code.
For example how hard is it to make a field unique entry. The FAG number
I have tried the reset button and that sets it back to the default
settings….and when I run the report that way it is fine, but then I go back
and the set the report options the way I would like it print and again I have

Thanks,

Though I have not been able to find this information in the help file (surprise surprise!) you can
save this list to a .CSV or .PDF file by clicking the tab marked options then selecting
"print." check all items you want included, select what type of file you want to create

I use the event description field for the name of the cemetery. You can then
do a search on that field. I use Search, individual, Event-Description,

list which I can print using the option button at the bottom,
Hi Jean,
Cathy gave you a good link to achieve what you're trying to do.
Hopefully you've entered cemeteries using one of those methods.
If not, explain to us how you've entered the cemeteries.
It can also be a good opportunity to tidy up your entries for cemeteries.
Hope that helps.

Susie Zada, that is exactly I mean. I have like fifty people buried on one

Hi Jean,
Do you mean the people
Jean,
How you get a list from Legacy depends on where you entered the name of
the cemetery.
Here's an article with several options. If it doesn't cover how you
entered the cemetery you'll need to tell us exactly.
