Gene, I don't think you can. This is a field available for Basic Style sources. If filled in it gives you a different Source Assistant. I don't think it does anything else and I see I rarely fill it in. From View - Master Lists - Source Type you can get a list of individuals that use that part

Master Sources contain various attributes, one of which is "type", such a marriage record, court, book, manuscript, etc. I can find no way to generate report of only those sources where the "type" is limited to "book". I only want a list of master sources that come from books. There seems to be no
