According to the field capacities list on the Legacy web pages, all of
the note fields in Legacy (General, Medical, Research, and Marriage
notes) have a length of 1,000,000 characters.

It called "Request Feature" and IT IS under the Help tab - right between
"Report A Bug" and "Legacy Homepage". You can also get to it by looking
at the "Support" tile (on the right hand side) on the Legacy Home tab
(right underneath the "Updates" tile) - here it is called "Making A
Suggestion".

Paul,
Same thing happened to me. First I would check to see if you have the
install.log file in the Legacy folder. If you do, make a copy of it and
put it on your desktop for safe-keeping.
Next, go into the Legacy folder , find the file named "unwise.exe" and
double click it. Basically, you are
I just checked my dates. All of my original dates (added, modified,

Is there any way to change the background color of the "Individual's
Information" screen?? The one that pops up after you choose to edit the
person (i.e. enter their birth date, death date, events, etc.) from the
Family View. I've been able to modify most of the other screens but not

I'm using the Deluxe version 8. I ran the report after reading your
post and it was missing the lines also. I then went into "Options" for
that report and unchecked the "Summary Style". Ran the report and got
the lines back!! Give it a try and see if it does the same for you.

Since it appears that my dates have changed also, I did a little bit of

others said they didn't.

Just looked on the Legacy webpages and couldn't see any webinars on

Lloyd,
I'd take a look at your ISP and see if it is putting the Legacy messages
into a SPAM folder or possibly deleting them outright. If it is, then
the only thing you can do is contact juno.com and tell them that LUG
messages are not SPAM.
Also, make sure that your email client is not putting

Norma,
Check the individuals information screen. Make sure that either "male"
or "female" is checked. The italics normally indicate an individual of

As far as I know any web hosting site will be able to display your
Legacy web pages properly. About the only thing you would need to do is
to upload them to your site using an FTP client of your choice.

Jim,
If I understand you correctly insofar as what you want to do, you should
go to the "Help" screen and search on "Event, Clipboard". Scroll down a
bit and read the section entitled "Using the Event Clipboard". I'm
pretty sure this is what you are looking for.
