Later on will do a backup to transfer to my new computer.
Question:
Old computer has Legacy ver 6.
Will this be a problem when I do a restore on new computer with
ver 7?

Michele, no reason to be sorry. you are correct, we are
suppose to trim our correspondence to keep space free.

I too subscribed a long time ago & canceled right away when
I realized they do not have complete or up to date records.
e.g US Census, no 1930, other years, most states didn't have
complete counties or missing completely.
Then again I am researching data later than 1920.
I had far better luck j
I too was contacting by them about a year ago because
I was a Legacy member but cancel in 4 days when I
realized most of their records are not up to date.
Which they will not tell you before hand.
