I've just realized that I have deleted a bunch of notes under one particularly important ancestor. If I restore an old backup file (in order to copy the notes to paste to the new file), will I loose the new updated one? I'm afraid to click the restore button in case I get myself into more

Someone just mentioned putting their pictures in dropbox. I just started that but the pictures are removed from my computer desktop (the file I access for my photos on my tree) it seems or am I misunderstanding this? So how do I get around that? Thx Legacy User Group guidelines:
