I got the warning from My Heritage and changed my password immediately. I
have never used, nor intend to ever use, PayPal.

You are so right, Michele. I had 3 trees and ended up having to combine
all three. Got a surprise when I did so. My g-g-father had entered a
child as an adopted daughter in his family bible and also in the 1911
Canada Census. Turns out she was related to both my g-g-mothers on my
mom's side!
I've learned the hard way to back up my Legacy to an external source
(either an external drive or a thumb drive) before having someone work on
my computer.

How much is cheap? I am in Canada.

I had mine done by Ancestry. When the results came in (and the matches),
some of the people looked eerily like members of my family: one of them
looks so much like my sister who passed away in 1973 in an automobile
accident that my brother came back with "are we sure that Clara is dead"!

I was under the impression that one had to pay in order to be able to edit

to edit a PDF document. Or has that changed recently?

I also close Legacy by clicking on the X in the corner. If I have only
opened Legacy to look at something, then the "do you want to save" message
does not pop up.
However, as soon as I make any change (add, delete, etc.) then I do get the
"do you want to save" does appear.

Cathy, can we put the spouses in reverse order. By that I mean the most
recent spouse first, followed by the previous spouse(e)s so that, when we
print out a report, we automatically have the current spouse appear first
followed by previous one(s).

Thank you. It worked. Didn't realize what you meant until I saw the
"double square" in the upper right hand corner of the screen; clicked on it
and BINGO!

When I bought a new all-in-one computer in May, I decided to keep the
monitor from the old one.
Just love what I can do with it. Only think that I can't move over the the
old monitor is Legacy so, if I am searching Ancestry and find something of
interest, I simply move Ancestry over to the old
esterday and paid $125.00! I don't understand the

Is it a UK phone number or a toll-free number? Can you post it for us?
Thanks.

Where were they married? In some countries, a couple must have a civil
ceremony before they can be married by a priest in a church. I know that
is the case in a number of European countries as well in Latin America and
at least in former French colonies in Africa.
In Canada (and I believe at

As Michelle Simons-Lewis suggested some time ago, I do as she does and keep
only the latest 10 sets of data. The others I simply delete.
I believe that Cloud overwrites the previous version but Michelle may be
able to guide us on that one.

They back-up on your hard drive automatically. To be on the safe side, I
also do a backup on a stick drive and also occasionally to a separate hard
drive. I tried setting up a Legacy Cloud account when Legacy 9 first came
out but it didn't work. I haven't tried lately.
