Unlink the child from his father and step mother. Then select the child by
himself in family view and add his father by linking to an existing person.
This will create a second relationship for the father with an unknown
spouse. And he will appear as 1/2 in family view of father's second
marriage.
You will need to be logged into your MyHeritage account to see the details
and records. If you don't have a membership, you may be able to locate the
documents on another service with the clues given in that first screen.

Thank you, Kurt, that pretty much took care of it. And I've learned a lot
about how these things work. There are still a couple of items left to
work through, but now I have a lot more confidence in the export function.

BTW, thanks for the answers to my question on the ribbon. I know I can
hide it. What I want to do is kill it. It doesn't sound like that will
be possible.

know what setting I may have missed?

Is there a way to turn off the ribbon and just have the 7.5 style vertical

HI all,
I have been having the same problem as Richard. If I add or copy a source
from the clipboard, or move to another field, the location I have entered
for the burial disappears.

Hi Dennis,
Well, what I wanted to happen is for the UserID and surname to be copied to
the IPTC data when I ran the IPTC LTool.
It just surprised me to find that it wasn't connected in a way to allow
that to happen.

Hi all,
I would think this question has been discussed before, but I didn't find it

Is there a portable version of LFT, or is there one planned? I see that
Family Tree Maker and Roots Magic each have a portable version, so I
thought maybe LegacyFamilyTree would, too.
