help I lost legacy family tree and all 7000 poor people and all the info.
I hunted all the files in the computer ,But no luck.
Any ides ?
P.S. I am 94 so if some can help keep it simple.

Thanks for all that. I have been doing it all wrong and 'obediently'
saving documents as 'documents'. I now think all my 'documents' should
have been 'Pictures'.
Is there a way of getting a list of where I have done that?

When I want to remove formatting I open a Notepad, copy the text into
it, then copy-and-cut the text. Bingo, all formatting has gone because
Notepad doesn't do formatting.
