Kirsten, Thanks, if all else fails I will go the GEDCOM route as you suggested. When I brought in a GEDCOM from another family tree program to begin MY Legacy database, it made quite a mess of my sources and other notes. I was hoping she could get my 'good' Legacy file just as I view and use it

I am trying to send my sister my Legacy family file as an email attachment. I attached the appropriate .fdb file to an email and she tried to detach it/download it onto her C: drive. Then she opened up the "free" Legacy program on her PC and it cannot seem to locate or open the .fdb file I sent
