Did you click the merge right individual into left button on the merge screen. The people are not merged until you click on that button. The preferred RIN should be on the left side, that is the number that will be kept. The RIN on the right will be deleted. If the "wrong number is on the left the

Yes they should be merged to eliminate the duplication. Since you know the RIN numbers you can do Tools > Merge > Manual Merge. When you have one person on the left and one on the right in the merge screen Legacy will display the differences and allow you to copy information to the left person (tha
