My take is this... If it's a document that you inherited, then it is an artifact. I inherited my mother's Social Security card and original birth certificate, and consider these to be artifacts. If you received it from the cemetery in response to an inquiry, I'd cite the cemetery as the source and

Hello Luggers! I have a Certificate of Title for my great-grand parent's grave sites. In sourcing the document (using Source Writer), should I use the "Artifact" template, or the "Cemetery Records" template (and if the "Cemetery Records", which subset should I use)? Thank you! Rob
