I don't use Clooz - I tried it out years ago. What stuck was the Clooz method of filing paper under type and then number. Brilliant. And so long as you enter the File ID in Legacy, it's very easy to find the piece of paper you want. Whether you file by some family system like MRIN or Ancestor Colo

I don't recommend relying on RINs and MRINs for filing your papers - there are times when you need to renumber the RINs and MRINs and the numbers you have filed by may be changed. Also if you're not super careful when doing a merge, you could lose the RIN or MRIN you filed by. I think the Ancestor

I file all my documents by number. Once numbered they go in an acid free sleeve and get filed in a 3 ring binder. The acid free page holders can be purchased online, any of the stores like Staples or Costco. I use CLOOZ to keep track of the documents. The number for the source goes in the de
