First tell your daughter to leave the Documents\Legacy Family Tree\
folder alone. If it is moved or renamed, it is recreated with default
settings which may be why a different file opened in Legacy. Helpful
people like to put all your genealogy in one folder etc etc and this
When I open Legacy, it is missing about two years of information that I
added. This happened immediately after my daughter moved some files in my
Documents folder.
