After that, try rebooting computer.
Thanks for the suggestion but no good. I unpinned it from the menu and
the taskbar. Closed down computer. Next day opened Legacy from the
"All apps" menu, but still

Thanks. Jim Terry responded and the issue has been resolved. In my case I
merely let the installer run its course.

is starting the Installer when Legacy tries to open a common file used

I have Legacy pinned to the taskbar and until now it has opened fine from
there. Now, however, a click on the icon gives the message "Please wait
while Windows configures Roxio Creator Premier 10".
I quickly cancel that and Legacy opens as it should. What is causing this?
