Joy, I'm with Jenny on this one.  I would probably use the Military Event and then click on the Sentence Override tab (next to the Event Notes tab) and change the sentence structure so that it comes out exactly the way I want.  My favorite sentence structure is nothing but [Notes][Sources], so

Joy, I will also have to agree with Joy and Jenny in that you don't need to create a sentence in the override tab. For greater flexibility, I created an event and named it Military. The sentence structure is [EventName]: [Desc], [Date], [Place].[Sources] [Notes]. I must admit that like Connie,
