GEDCOM is the only way. Be cautious. If you are using SourceWriter, they
will be changed to basic.

Aaah..but you can make a Gedcom of your present file then install the
version of Legacy you want and then import the gedcom file into that.

changes will be made to your Family File which mean that it will no
longer be usable in the older version of the program.
