You've encountered something strange then. Options aren't saved as part of a Legacy data backup apart from Family file specific ones. You have to save the folder I referred you to yourself if you want them saved. Most options from Options-Customise are saved in the profile.dbm file in the usr

Ian The PDF Legacy User's Manual has not been and will not be updated. The internal Help is regularly updated and is far more extensive than the Manual though not organised in the same way. All the Help buttons in the program are context sensitive and take you to the section you need.

Sad to say I really liked that feature as I have vision problems and it helped me to better see the icon the mouse pointer was pointing at Now I can't tell as quickly. They really weren't broken - it was something the programmers were trying to implement but some people didn't like it.
